İn order to realise her passion for food, cook it and serve it in her very own style, Şemsa Denizsel founded the renowned “Kantin” in 2000. She formulated a model by supporting small local producers and using only seasonal, local produce… Hence, created the examplary story of Kantin. Eighteen years after the opening of Kantin, she started a new venture by opening a grand kitchen in Ayvalık. İn addition to her own ateliers, she is welcoming chefs, food researchers and food writers from all over the globe to join her for seminars and ateliers on food and beyond.
